                                                    Counterargument

The argument is that there is only one mode, that the rich should use their riches in a beneficial way to them and society. The way we spend our money now will affect our future. The rich who use their money for toys or unnecessary things, are doing no good to society and should lose their riches. The poor are better off than they were back in the days, but we are focusing on today; nonetheless, the poor are still poor. Having more necessities then they use to doesn’t make them any better off. The poor are still waking up everyday trying to make every penny count. There is no belief in inheritance of any kind. If you have money or are rich it’s because you earned it. You should have to work hard for you money, just as others do. Having money given to you gives you no satisfaction of it and doesn’t teach you how to be responsible. If the rich are going to inherit it they should make to inheritor work for all his money or at least teach them how to be responsible with it.

The rich should not just let their money “sit”, when the poor could be using it. The poor will never have enough money to let it just “sit”. They are living day to day using every dime that they have. The rich should be using their money in some kind of way. I have disused the most beneficial way. Money that just sits, when there are people struggling is a waste of wealth. If we have wealth then lets use it. Lets make it so there is no rich or poor, we are all equal. So that everyman is just as good off as the last. Everyone has an equal opportunity and everyone has the same amount of money. We may even suggest putting a limit on our riches. The rich can’t get to rich and the poor won’t be poor. There should be access to the same amount of money to everyone. How much you get, depends on how hard you work.

I would have to disagree with this argument. The rich have the right to choose what they want to do with their riches; after all, it is their money. You should not tell someone what they should do or not do with their money. We should only worry about ourselves, and what we must do with our money. If the rich earned all the money that they own, then they shall choose how to dispose of it. Having rich and poor is what makes this world revolve. If there were neither rich, nor poor then the economy would be unjust. The rich and the poor are what makes this economy balance out or at least makes it the way it should be.  Even if all the rich did as the mode, and used their riches in a beneficial way to them and society, it will still never be equal. We all do have the same equal opportunities if we strive for them. The people who are rich are those who have succeeded in their opportunities. You must just live everyday and hope for your opportunity to be who you were made to be. The rich will always be frowned upon for the way they distribute their wealth, and the poor will always strive to make it through each day. It is impossible to change this or make it equal. It is what it is.
